§ 16-34-2-6 — Prohibitions on performing experiments on and the transport of an aborted fetus; transport of aborted fetus for purpose of conducting final disposition of the aborted fetus permitted
(a)No experiments except pathological
examinations may be conducted on any fetus aborted under this
chapter. A person who conducts such an experiment commits a Class
A misdemeanor.
(b)Except as provided by subsection (c), a person who knowingly
transports an aborted fetus into, or out of, Indiana commits a Class A
misdemeanor.
(c)A person may transport an aborted fetus into, or out of, Indiana
for the sole purpose of conducting the final disposition of the aborted
fetus by cremation or interment under IC 16-34-3-4.
