§ 16-31-5-2 — Restrictions on provision of ambulance services

A city, town, or county may not adopt an ordinance that restricts a person from providing ambulance services in the city, town, township, or county if:

(1)the person is authorized to provide ambulance services in any part of another county; and
(2)the person has been requested to provide ambulance services:
(A)to the county in which the person is authorized to provide ambulance services, and those services will originate in another county; or
(B)from the county in which the person is authorized to provide ambulance services, and those services will terminate in another county. [Pre-1993 Recodification Citation: 16-1-39-15(b).]
