§ 16-31-11-3 — Credit for official duties; academic requirements

(a)All relevant experience of a military
service applicant in the discharge of the applicant's official duties while
performing service described in section 1 of this chapter must be
credited in the calculation of the number of years the applicant has
provided emergency medical services for purposes of section 2 of this
chapter.
(b)In determining if a military service applicant substantially meets
the academic requirements for a license or certificate issued by the
commission, the commission shall consider the recommendations in
the Guide to the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed
Services published by the American Council on Education or the
council's successor organization.
