Text

Notwithstanding any other provision of this article, the commission shall issue a license or certificate to a military service applicant to allow the applicant to provide emergency medical services in Indiana if, upon application to the commission, the applicant satisfies the following conditions:

(1)Has:
(A)completed a military program of training;
(B)been awarded a military occupational specialty; and
(C)performed in that occupational specialty; at a level that is substantially equivalent to or exceeds the academic or experience requirements for the license or certificate the applicant is seeking from the commission.
(2)Has engaged in the active practice of the occupation for which the applicant is seeking licensure or certification for at least two
