Effective 9-1-2025. Sec. 8.

(a)An individual may not:
(1)profess to be a certified nurse aide; or
(2)use the initials "CNA" or any other words, letters, abbreviations, or insignia indicating or implying that the individual is a certified nurse aide; unless the individual holds a certification under this chapter.
(b)An individual who knowingly or intentionally violates this section commits a Class A misdemeanor.
