§ 16-26-2-11 — Fund grants; purposes

Indiana·Title 16 HEALTH·Art. 26 MATERNITY HOMES·Ch. 2 Maternity Assistance Development Fund

The state department may approve a grant to a registered maternity home for any of the following purposes:

(1)To expand, create, or improve facilities.
(2)To provide educational assistance, prenatal or child care classes, or job training for pregnant women.
(3)To provide equipment or supplies so that more pregnant women may be assisted.
(4)To provide training for staff or personnel of the maternity home.
(5)To provide temporary residence for pregnant women.
(6)To provide or improve prenatal services for pregnant women that have no access to other prenatal services. [Pre-1993 Recodification Citation: 16-2.5-3-6.]
