§ 16-26-2-1 — Applicant defined

Indiana·Title 16 HEALTH·Art. 26 MATERNITY HOMES·Ch. 2 Maternity Assistance Development Fund

As used in this chapter, "applicant" means a nonprofit organization that:

(1)is exempt from federal income taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code;

(2)is registered as a maternity home under IC 16-26-1; and

(3)applies to the state department for a grant from the fund for the purpose of expanding, creating, or improving a maternity home. [Pre-1993 Recodification Citation: 16-2.5-3-1.]
