Text
(a)Two (2) or more counties may agree to
establish and maintain a tuberculosis hospital.
(b)The county executives of counties proposing to cooperate may
enter into an agreement to establish the hospital and shall apportion the
cost among the counties cooperating according to the ratio of taxable
property in the counties.
(c)The county executives of the counties constitute a board for the
control of the tuberculosis hospital. The admission of patients must be
based upon the population of the respective counties, but if there are
not as many applications for admission as a county is entitled to,
admission must be made in the order in which the applications are
received.
