Text

Any child:

(1)less than sixteen (16) years of age;
(2)having a legal settlement in any county of Indiana; and
(3)either:
(A)afflicted with a defect, disease or deformity, presumably curable or improvable by skilled medical and surgical treatment; or
(B)needing special study for diagnosis; may be admitted to, treated at, and discharged from the hospital under the rules and regulations adopted by the management of the hospital and approved by the board of trustees. [Pre-2007 Higher Education Recodification Citation: 20-12-31-3.]
