§ 16-23-7-1 — Application of chapter

Indiana·Title 16 HEALTH·Art. 23 MUNICIPAL AND OTHER TYPES OF·Ch. 7 Support of Nonmunicipal Hospitals in Evansville and

This chapter applies to a nonprofit hospital corporation:

(1)in a city having a population of:

(A)more than one hundred ten thousand (110,000) and less than one hundred fifty thousand (150,000); or

(B)more than one hundred thousand (100,000) and less than one hundred ten thousand (110,000);

(2)in a city without a city hospital or other means for furnishing the city's citizens hospital care; and

(3)that owns property in the city that:

(A)is used for hospital purposes; and

(B)has a value of at least four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000). [Pre-1993 Recodification Citations: 16-12.2-6-1; 16-12.2-6-3 part.]
