§ 16-22-8-5 — Hospital defined
Indiana·Title 16 HEALTH·Art. 22 COUNTY HOSPITALS·Ch. 8 Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County
As used in this chapter, "hospital":
(1)means a hospital (as defined in IC 16-18-2-179(b)) that is
owned, operated, or managed by a municipality or political
subdivision within the territorial jurisdiction of the corporation
created by section 6 of this chapter; and
(2)does not include state or federal owned or operated hospitals.
