§ 16-22-8-38 — Transfer of powers and duties from other political subdivision

Whenever a power, an authority, or duty is
imposed by this chapter upon the corporation or the corporation's
officers that on July 1, 1952, was imposed on another municipal
corporation or political subdivision or the corporation's or political
subdivision's officers, power, authority, or duty shall be exercised
exclusively by the corporation.
