Text
(a)The board shall hold the annual meeting
the second Monday in January of each year. At the meeting, the board
shall select from among the members a chairperson and vice
chairperson and shall make the appointments of personnel provided
under this chapter.
(b)A vacancy occurs if the chairperson or vice chairperson of the
board dies, resigns, or is impeached. If the office of chairperson or vice
chairperson becomes vacant, the board shall select from among the
members a successor chairperson or vice chairperson at the next
meeting of the board.
