Text
(a)In a county where a city hospital is operated
under IC 16-23-1, the county executive may, upon written request of
the governing board of the city hospital, adopt a resolution for the
creation of an authority under this chapter.
(b)The adoption of a resolution creates an authority, which is a
body corporate and politic to be known as the "___________ County
Hospital Association". The authority is created for the purpose of
financing, acquiring, constructing, equipping, and leasing to the county
or the city in which the authority is created land and buildings for the
use and benefit of the city hospital.
(c)The county auditor shall file a certified copy of the resolution
with the judge of the circuit court of the county in which the authority
is created.
