§ 16-22-7-18 — Time for making leases

The county or city may, in anticipation of the
construction and erection of buildings, including necessary equipment
and appurtenances, enter into a lease with the authority before the
acquisition of a site and the construction and erection of the buildings.
Rental payments under the lease may not begin until construction is
completed and the building is ready for occupancy.
