Text

The county executive of a county owning and operating only one (1) county hospital may, upon written request by the governing board of the hospital, adopt a resolution for the creation of an authority under this chapter. Upon the adoption of the resolution an authority is created which shall be a body corporate and politic known as the "_________ County Hospital Association". The name includes the name of the county. The authority is created for the purpose of financing, acquiring, constructing, renovating, equipping, and leasing to the county land and a building, including an existing building, for hospital purposes. The county auditor shall file a certified copy of the resolution with the clerk of the circuit court of the county in which the authority is created. [Pre-1993 Recodification
