§ 16-22-3-15 — Patient refunds fund
The governing board may establish a special
fund for patient refunds in an amount not to exceed five thousand
dollars ($5,000) if the money is deposited in a checking account in a
depository designated for the deposit of money of the hospital and
checks are issued by the person designated by the board. The special
funds are supplemental to those otherwise permitted by law.
