§ 16-21-9-3 — "Nonprofit hospital" defined

Indiana·Title 16 HEALTH·Art. 21 HOSPITALS·Ch. 9 Provision of Charitable Care by Nonprofit Hospitals

As used in this chapter, "nonprofit hospital" means a hospital that is organized as a nonprofit corporation or a charitable trust under Indiana law or the laws of any other state or country and that is:

(1)eligible for tax exempt bond financing; or
(2)exempt from state or local taxes.
