§ 16-21-2-1 — Applicability
(a)Except as provided in subsection (b), this
chapter applies to all hospitals, rural emergency hospitals, ambulatory
outpatient surgical centers, and birthing centers.
(b)This chapter does not apply to a hospital operated by the federal
government.
(c)This chapter does not affect a statute pertaining to the placement
and adoption of children.
