§ 16-20-1-21 — Communicable disease control; powers
Indiana·Title 16 HEALTH·Art. 20 LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENTS·Ch. 1 Powers and Duties of Local Health Departments
Each local health board has the
responsibility and authority to take any action authorized by statute or
rule of the state department to control communicable diseases. The
board of each local health department or a designated representative
may make sanitary and health inspections to carry out this chapter and
IC 16-20-8.
