Text
The governing board of a hospital may do the following for a hospital police department established by the governing board under section 2 of this chapter:
(1)Appoint hospital police officers.
(2)Prescribe the duties and direct the conduct of hospital police
officers.
(3)Prescribe distinctive uniforms.
(4)Provide emergency vehicles.
(5)For a hospital police department of a nonprofit hospital,
prescribe the jurisdiction for the nonprofit hospital police
department.
