§ 16-18-2-340 — "State health commissioner"; "commissioner"
(a)"State health commissioner" or
"commissioner", except as otherwise provided, means the state health
commissioner of the Indiana department of health.
(b)For purposes of IC 16-21, IC 16-28, and IC 16-29, the term
includes a deputy or an assistant state health commissioner appointed
by the state health commissioner, or an agent expressly authorized by
the state health commissioner.
(c)For purposes of IC 16-42-1 through IC 16-42-4, the term means
the state veterinarian when impounding or disposing of adulterated or
misbranded products under IC 15-17-5 and IC 15-18-1.
