§ 16-18-2-252 — "Nonprofit hospital corporation"
"Nonprofit hospital corporation" means a corporation that:
(1)is organized and doing business under IC 23-17;
(2)is authorized by the corporation's charter to and does own and
operate a hospital;
(3)is licensed under IC 16-21; and
(4)operates the hospital as a charitable or benevolent institution
making the hospital's services available to persons unable to pay
to the extent of the hospital's financial ability to do so.
