Effective 9-1-2025. Sec. 237.2. "Misconduct", for purposes of IC 16-27.5, means any of the following acts performed by a qualified medication aide:
(1)Stealing, diverting, or otherwise misusing medication.
(2)Administering medication in a manner that does not comply
with IC 16-27.5-4.
(3)Improperly storing medication.
(4)Performing duties outside the qualified medication aide's
scope of practice.
(5)Performing duties within a qualified medication aide's scope
of practice without adequate training or competency.
(6)Fraudulently procuring or attempting to procure or maintain
a qualified medication aide certification, including the following:
(A)Falsely representing facts on an individual's application for
certification or renewal of certification under IC 16-27.5-4.
(B)Impersonating
