Text
(a)A retail pet store operator that violates this
article commits a deceptive act that is actionable by the attorney
general or a consumer under IC 24-5-0.5-4 and is subject to the
remedies and penalties under IC 24-5-0.5.
(b)A retail pet store operator that misleads a consumer, by contract
or otherwise, with the intent to evade the requirements of this article
commits a deceptive act that is actionable by the attorney general or a
consumer under IC 24-5-0.5-4 and is subject to the remedies and
penalties under IC 24-5-0.5.
(c)Nothing in this article shall be construed to prevent a consumer
from filing a complaint as provided under IC 24-5-0.5-4.
