Text

(a)Nothing in this article shall be construed to prohibit the board from exercising its statutory powers and duties conferred under IC 15-17-3.
(b)The board may inspect and audit any:
(1)commercial dog breeder;
(2)commercial dog broker;
(3)retail pet store;
(4)animal care facility; or
(5)animal rescue operation; that the board has reason to believe violates this article, or has reason to believe that a higher frequency of inspections is necessary for a high risk entity.
