§ 15-20-3-4 — Bill of sale: consequences for inability to produce

If a person is unable to show a valid bill of sale for a dog:

(1)a laboratory may not purchase the dog; and
(2)there is a rebuttable presumption that the dog is stolen. [Pre-2008 Recodification Citation: 15-5-18-4.]
