§ 15-19-7-2 — "Commercial feed"

As used in this chapter, "commercial feed" means all materials, or combinations of materials, that are distributed or intended for distribution for use as feed or for mixing in feed, except as exempted in this section. The term does not include the following unless labeled with nutritional claims or adulterated within the meaning of section 29(1) of this chapter:

(1)Unmixed whole seeds.
(2)Unmixed, physically altered whole seeds that have not been chemically altered.
(3)Commodities, compounds, or substances excluded by rules adopted by the state chemist under IC 4-22-2 in accordance with section 34 of this chapter. [Pre-2008 Recodification Citation: 15-5-13-1(2).]
