Text

(a)Only Grade A pasteurized milk, Grade A pasteurized milk products, and manufacturing grade milk products that meet the requirements of this chapter, including rules adopted under this chapter, may be sold to the final consumer or to restaurants, soda fountains, grocery stores, or similar establishments.
(b)A municipality or county may not do the following:
(1)Impose different standards or requirements for Grade A milk and milk products or manufacturing grade milk products than those provided for in this chapter.
(2)Prohibit the sale of milk or a milk product if the milk or milk product has been produced and processed in accordance with this chapter. [Pre-2008 Recodification Citation: 15-2.1-23-8.]
