§ 15-17-8-9 — Duty of cattle owners

Indiana·Art. 17 ANIMAL HEALTH AND ANIMAL PRODUCTS·Ch. 8 Bovine Brucellosis

After a program for the control and eradication of brucellosis has begun in a county, each cattle owner in the county shall:

(1)comply with all existing rules and federal regulations to maintain the county's certification;
(2)upon notice by a representative of a local, state, or federal cooperating agency, confine the owner's cattle in suitable quarters for testing; and
(3)render reasonable assistance in testing. [Pre-2008 Recodification Citation: 15-2.1-8-10.]
