Text

(a)This section applies if, upon inspection of an establishment, the state veterinarian or board finds a condition that meets any of the following conditions:
(1)May affect adversely the wholesomeness of meat, poultry, meat food products, meat byproducts, or poultry products.
(2)Is in violation of this chapter or rules adopted under this chapter.
(b)The state veterinarian or board may do either of the following:
(1)Furnish evidence of the violation to the prosecuting attorney of the judicial circuit in which the violation occurs.
(2)Issue an order to the person in authority at the offending establishment to abate the condition or violation within five (5) days or other reasonable time required to abate the condition or violation. The proceedings to abate must be in accordance with IC
