Text

(a)If a condition exists in an official establishment that may adversely affect the wholesomeness of meat, poultry, meat food products, or meat byproducts prepared or processed in the official establishment, the state veterinarian may suspend state meat or poultry inspection until the condition is remedied.
(b)After notice and hearing in compliance with IC 4-21.5, the board may revoke state meat and poultry inspection from an official establishment if the person in authority at the establishment repeatedly and persistently fails to comply with this chapter and the rules adopted under this chapter.
