Text

(a)A person who fails to file an annual or a special report as required by this chapter within the time fixed by the state veterinarian for filing the report and for thirty (30) days after notice of default shall forfeit to the state one hundred dollars ($100) for each day of the continuance of the failure beginning thirty-one (31) days after the notice of default. The forfeiture is payable into the state treasury and is recoverable in a civil suit in the name of the state of Indiana brought in the circuit court, superior court, or probate court where the person has the person's principal office or in any county in which the person does business.
