Text

(a)If a person engages in the business of a livestock dealer, including employing an individual to act on the person's behalf, without a license required under this article:
(1)the attorney general;
(2)the board or the board's representative;
(3)the prosecuting attorney; or
(4)a resident of the county in which the person engaged in the business of dealing without a license; may maintain an action in the name of the state to enjoin the person from continuing the violation.
(b)An injunction granted under this section does not relieve a person from any criminal prosecution allowed for the person's violation of this article.
(c)A complaint for an injunction is sufficient if it alleges that:
(1)on a certain date; and
(2)in a specific county; the person engaged in business as a livestoc
