Text

(a)An animal may be sold for immediate slaughter at a livestock auction market, community sale, or public stockyard.
(b)A person may not knowingly resell or divert for any purpose, other than immediate slaughter to an approved slaughtering establishment, an animal sold for immediate slaughter. [Pre-2008 Recodification Citation: 15-2.1-15-9.]
