§ 15-17-13-8 — Violation; imported pigs

Indiana·Art. 17 ANIMAL HEALTH AND ANIMAL PRODUCTS·Ch. 13 Feeder Pigs
Feeder pigs that are imported, moved, or introduced into Indiana in violation of this chapter shall be immediately placed under quarantine and unloaded at a facility designated by the board. The truck or conveyance used to transport the quarantined feeder pigs must be impounded until compliance with this chapter is determined. The consignor or shipper shall pay the costs of feeding and caring for the quarantined feeder pigs. [Pre-2008 Recodification Citation: 15-2.1-12-9.]
