§ 15-17-11-4 — License; inspection; compliance

Indiana·Art. 17 ANIMAL HEALTH AND ANIMAL PRODUCTS·Ch. 11 Disposal of Dead Animals
(a)On receipt of an application for a license under this chapter, the state veterinarian or a designee of the state veterinarian shall:
(1)inspect the disposal plant and the locality where the applicant is conducting or proposes to conduct business; and
(2)determine whether the applicant has fulfilled and complied with this chapter and the rules relating to the business.
(b)An inspection under this section must be conducted not later than thirty (30) days after the application is received by the state veterinarian. [Pre-2008 Recodification Citation: 15-2.1-16-4.]
