Text

(a)A license may not be issued to a person for the sole purpose of transporting the bodies of dead animals unless the person meets the requirements for a collection service under this chapter.
(b)A public official with a legal duty to protect the public health and welfare may remove or supervise the removal of the dead bodies of animals and the disposal of the dead bodies by any method provided for by this chapter. [Pre-2008 Recodification Citation: 15-2.1-16-16.]
