§ 15-15-11-6 — "Handler"

Indiana·Art. 15 HORTICULTURE PRODUCTS·Ch. 11 Promotion of Agricultural Products

As used in this chapter, "handler" means a person who engages in the selling, marketing, or distribution of an agricultural commodity that the person:

(1)has purchased for resale; or
(2)is marketing on behalf of a producer. The term includes a producer who distributes an agricultural commodity that the producer has produced. [Pre-2008 Recodification Citation: 15-4-3.5-1(e).]
