§ 15-12-1-8 — Eligibility to form an association

Indiana·Art. 12 AGRICULTURAL ASSISTANCE·Ch. 1 Agricultural Cooperatives

The following may form an association under this chapter:

(1)Five (5) or more persons engaged in the production of agricultural products.
(2)Two (2) or more associations that:
(A)are:
(i)organized under or governed by this chapter; or
(ii)organized under any other Indiana law or under the laws of any other state or territory of the United States or of the District of Columbia; and
(B)are operated on a cooperative basis for the mutual benefit of the associations' members, members and patrons, or patrons as producers or associations of producers. [Pre-2008 Recodification Citation: 15-7-1-3.]
