§ 15-12-1-19 — Board of directors; districts; primary elections

The territory served by an association may be divided into districts and the directors elected according to districts. In this case, the bylaws must specify:

(1)the number of directors to be elected in each district; and
(2)the manner and method of reapportioning the directors and of redistricting the territory served by the association. The bylaws may provide that primary elections shall be held in each district to elect the directors apportioned to the district and that the result of the primary elections may be ratified by the members at the next annual or special meeting of the members of the association or may be considered as final.
