Text
(a)A sex or violent offender who is required
to register under this chapter may not petition for a change of name
under IC 34-28-2.
(b)If a sex or violent offender who is required to register under this
chapter changes the sex or violent offender's name due to marriage, the
sex or violent offender must register with the local law enforcement
authority not more than seven (7) days after the name change.
