Text
The commissioner shall appoint one (1) or more
deputy commissioners. A deputy commissioner must hold at least a
bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and must
have held a management position in correctional or related work for a
minimum of three (3) years. A deputy commissioner shall serve at the
pleasure of the commissioner. A deputy commissioner is entitled to a
salary to be determined by the budget agency with the approval of the
governor.
