(a)Except as provided in subsection (b), an Indiana offender or delinquent child on probation or parole who applies to be transferred out of state under the interstate compact for adult supervision or the interstate compact for juveniles shall pay an application fee of one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125). The application fee shall be used to cover the costs of administering the interstate compact for adult offender supervision and the interstate compact for juveniles.
(b)An offender or delinquent child who has been found indigent by a trial court at the time the offender applies to be transferred out of state under the interstate compact for adult supervision or the interstate compact for juveniles may, at the court's discretion, be required to pay a lesser amount of the cost of the a
