Text
(a)The Indiana criminal justice institute shall
identify any federal, state, or local grants that can be used to assist in
the funding and operation of regional holding facilities.
(b)To obtain necessary funding for the establishment and operation
of regional holding facilities, or to provide such services through
contractual agreements with public and private agencies, the
commissioner may accept gifts, grants, and subsidies from any lawful
source and apply for and accept federal funds.
