Text
(a)The department may acquire premises and
facilities for community corrections by purchase, lease, contract, or
gift.
(b)To obtain necessary funding for the establishment and operation
of community corrections programs, or to provide these services
through contractual agreements with public and private agencies, the
commissioner may accept gifts, grants, and subsidies from any lawful
source, and apply for and accept federal funds.
