Text

The department may:

(1)establish and operate community corrections programs if these programs are not being provided at the local level; and
(2)contract with any public or private agency approved by the commissioner, or any combination of those agencies, for the provision of community based services to committed persons, including the furnishing of custody, supervision, care, training, and reintegration. As added by Acts 1979, P.L.120, SEC.5.
