The creditor, his or her heirs, executors, administrators or assigns, having so redeemed, shall be considered as having bid at such sale the amount of the redemption money so paid by him or her, with interest thereon at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of such redemption to the day of sale, with the cost of such redemption and sale, and if no greater amount is bid at such sale, the premises shall be struck off to the person making such redemption. If at the time of issuance thereof, any person is entitled to redeem under Section 12-137 of this Act the officer shall forthwith execute a certificate of purchase to him or her in like form and manner as upon the first sale, for a deed of the premises so sold.
