§ 45-5 — Purpose
Illinois·Topic RIGHTS AND REMEDIES·Ch. 730 CORRECTIONS·Act 730 ILCS 175/ Secure Residential Youth Care Facility Licensing Act.·Art. Article 45 -
The Illinois Department of Corrections shall establish a system of licensure for secure residential youth care facilities in accordance with this Act for the following purposes:
(1)Protection of the health, welfare, and safety of residents.
(2)Protection of the safety of the general public.
