§ 281 — Annexation
Illinois·Topic GOVERNMENT·Ch. 70 SPECIAL DISTRICTS·Act 70 ILCS 2605/ Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Act.
On the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 91st General Assembly, the corporate limits of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District, formerly known as the Metropolitan Sanitary District of Greater Chicago and as the Sanitary District of Chicago, are extended to include the following described tracts and those tracts are annexed to the District: Parcel No. 1: Part of the Southwest Quarter (1/4) of Section 34 and part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 33 both in the Township 42 North, Range 9 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian bounded and described as follows, to-wit: beginning at intersection of the centerline of State Route 72 (Higgins Road) with the East line line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 34, thence South 00°00'00" East, along said East line, 750.17 feet to th
